Get up and running in 15 minutes
This guide walks you through everything from creating your account to making your first hire with Canvider. Follow along step by step or jump to the section you need.
-
Create your account
Sign up at canvider.com with no credit card required. You'll be asked for your name, work email, and company name. That's it. Your workspace is ready in seconds.
Tips
- Use your work email so teammates can be invited to the same organisation.
- You can change your company name and logo any time in Settings.
-
Set up your company profile
Add your company logo, a short description, and your primary location. This information appears on your job listings so candidates know who they're applying to.
Tips
- A clear company description increases application rates.
- You can have multiple locations; add them all under Settings → Locations.
-
Create your first job
Click "New Job" and either write your job description from scratch or use JobCraft to generate one from a short brief. Set the role title, location, type (full-time, contract, etc.), and salary range if you want to include it.
Tips
- JobCraft saves 20–30 minutes per job description on average.
- You can save a job as a draft and publish it later.
-
Configure screening criteria
Define must-have requirements with CriteriaMatch. These are the non-negotiables: certifications, minimum years of experience, location, right-to-work status. Canvider will automatically flag which applicants meet them so you don't have to read every CV manually.
Tips
- Keep must-haves to 3–5 criteria for best results.
- You can also add nice-to-have criteria that feed into the AI Score ranking.
-
Publish and share your listing
Hit Publish. Canvider generates a clean, mobile-friendly application page with a unique link. Share it on LinkedIn, your careers page, job boards, or anywhere your audience is.
Tips
- Copy the direct link from the job dashboard to embed it in your website.
- You can track source by adding UTM parameters to the link.
-
Review candidates with AI Score
As applications arrive, AI Score ranks each candidate against your criteria and shows an explainable score. You'll see at a glance which candidates are the strongest match and why, without reading every CV in sequence.
Tips
- Use the Score filter to surface the top 20% instantly.
- Click any score to see the full breakdown before making a decision.
-
Move candidates through your pipeline
Drag candidates between stages: Screening → Phone Call → Interview → Offer. Each stage can have automations attached, such as automatic emails to candidates, reminders to interviewers, or stage-change notifications to your team.
Tips
- You can customise your pipeline stages in Settings → Pipelines.
- Set up Workflow Automation to handle repetitive stage emails automatically.
-
Collect team feedback
Invite interviewers to leave structured feedback directly in Canvider using Collaborative Assessment. Each reviewer rates the candidate against defined criteria and adds notes. All feedback is visible in one place before the final decision.
Tips
- Structured feedback reduces bias and makes hiring decisions easier to defend.
- Hiring managers can see aggregated scores without reading every note.
-
Make your decision
Use DecisionHelper to compare your final candidates side-by-side. The tool surfaces AI insights alongside your team's feedback so everyone can align quickly. When you're ready, mark the winner and archive the rest. Archived candidates stay in your TalentPool for future roles.
Tips
- Always archive, never delete. Past candidates are often perfect for future roles.
- Add a note to archived candidates so you remember why they were a great runner-up.
